On-Site Post Production Services

Carson Filmworks can bring the power of its color grading/editing suite to you with an on-site post production mobile workstation, the RoguePro by PostBox Systems in Hollywood. This mobile workstation can be used in a stand-alone mode or optionally mounted on a cart with: two additional monitors - a professionally calibrated Flanders Scientific color grading monitor and a Dell 4K monitor for 4K workflows; and, three high capacity RAIDs for data backups. Additionally, one can have realtime wireless monitoring with a Paralinx Triton transmitter and receiver system.

For those technically inclined, the RoguePro is an "airline carry-on luggage" sized box that contains a built-in monitor, an Apple MacPro cylinder, an 8TB SSD RAID, and PCIe expansion slots - all with full Thunderbolt 2 connectivity. This hardware, combined with the industry-leading DaVinci Resolve color grading and editing software, can bring full post-production capabilities to your set or filming location.

On-Site Post Production services include:

• live color grading and image capture from digital cameras;
• generation of custom or standardized LUTs;
• creation and capture of "looks" for editorial, color grading and finishing;
• cloning of camera data cards with check sum reports;
• data backup onto three high capacity RAIDs;
• preparation of dailies with synchronized second-source audio; and
• transcoding of raw source media and/or acquisition/capture codecs into mezzanine/editing/proxy codecs: and,
• 4K workflow.
